Prerequisites: Finesse weapon.
Base Mastery: 2. When you use the negate defense skill challenge in combat, you gain a +2 bonus to your roll. In addition, if you have an execution token pool, you gain 1 execution token each time you successfully use this challenge against the target of your pool. If you have a scoundrel token pool, you gain 1 scoundrel token each time you successfully use this challenge on any opponent.
Expanded Mastery: 5. You can use the negate defense skill challenge with a base attack check instead of a skill check. Unlike a skill check, you do not take a cumulative -5 penalty for using a base attack check in this way multiple times in the same encounter.
Expanded Mastery: 7. Your dazzling skill ties your opponent up in knots. If you succeed in using the negate defense skill challenge, you can elect to daze your opponent for 1 round instead of causing them to lose their active bonus to defense. You can use this ability once per encounter.
Expanded Mastery: 9. Once per round, you can use the negate defense skill challenge as a free action. You do not have to take the fast completion skill challenge, and so you do not incur the usual -5 penalty.
Prerequisites: Finesse or light weapon.
Base Mastery: 1. As per IH pp.146-147.
Expanded Mastery: 2. You automatically strike at your chosen target when attacking into a grapple (you have no chance of accidentally hitting another grappler).
Expanded Mastery: 3, 5, 7, 9. As per IH p.147.
Expanded Mastery: 4. As per IH p.147.
Expanded Mastery: 6. You show great skill in finding weaknesses in armour and scaly hide. Once per round, you can make an attack that bypasses up to 10 points of your foe's passive defenses. You can split this between bypassing their passive bonus to defense and bypassing their damage reduction, as you choose. You must make this decision before you roll your attack. This requires an attack action, and you cannot use this feat as part of a full attack.
For example, if you were fighting a giant, you could choose to bypass 10 points of its natural armour bonus to defense. On the other hand, if you were fighting an armiger in full plate, you could bypass up to 10 points of his armour's damage reduction instead. Finally, if you were fighting a demon, a monster with both damage reduction and a natural armour bonus to defense, you could split things evenly: ignoring up to 5 points of natural armour bonus and 5 points of damage reduction.
