On this page are the week to week positions of the Abba material in Switzerland, accreditation information and end of year chart information. The Swiss singles chart began in 1968 and the albums chart began in 1983. Singles were Top 10 from 1968 to March 1976, Top 15 from April 1976, Top 30 from November 1983 and Top 40 from January 1992.

At the end of each year, the Top 100 singles and albums for the year were compiled based upon chart performance. For example, a week at number 1 scored 100 points, and a week at number 100 scored 1 point. Below are the year-end positions for the Abba material that made it into the year-end Top 100 Chart Performers for the year. Please note this is based solely on chart performance, and not on sales, which is also why some items appear two years running.
1974 singles: Waterloo was number 2 in the year.
1975 singles: SOS was number 8 for the year.
1975 singles: I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do was number 7 for the year.
1976 singles: Dancing Queen was number 11 for the year.
1976 singles: Fernando was number 1 for the year.
1977 singles: Knowing Me, Knowing You was number 9 for the year.
1978 singles: Take A Chance On Me was number 10 for the year.
1979 singles: Chiquitita was number 9 for the year.
1980 singles: I Have A Dream was number 15 for the year.
1985 singles: One Night In Bangkok from Chess was number 8 for the year.
1975 albums: Abba was number 19 for the year.
1985 albums: Chess was number 20 for the year.
1992 albums: Abba Gold was number 39 for the year.
1993 albums: Abba Gold was number 5 for the year.
2000 albums: The Complete Singles Collection was number 31 for the year.
Gold was 25,000 copies and Platinum was 50,000 copies until December 2000.
Gold was 20,000 copies and Platinum was 40,000 copies until December 2005.
Gold is now 15,000 copies and Platinum is now 30,000 copies.
